This is my food chain about antarctica animals and how they eat.
Zooplankton eat pyhto plankton, and the fish eat pyhto plankton. The penguin eat fish and the seal eats the penguin and the Ocra eat the seal.

This Elephant seal lives in Antarctic.

Antarctica animals.

Did you know that in  Antarctica some animals are amazing? but one animal stays in winter. A Weddell seal. Other animals find other habitat so can stay out of winter. Weddell seal have a fat blubber to keep them warm.

Antarctica whales.

An animal are find in the Ocean. Whales are the largest animal that’s in the world. They are not fish but they are called mammals.

Whales live in a group called pods.

Did you know a female whale is called a cow,

A group of whale is called a pod,

and the male whale  is called a bulls,

and the baby whale is called a Calf. 3.

Whales have thick layer. Whales have  fat Blubber under their skin to keep them warm. They have enormous mouth with jore bones.

Whales have tooth and they are called tooth whales.

A Baleen whale has no teeth like a killer whale. But baleen whale have lots of tooth so they can eat krlls.

Ernest Shackleton.

In Antarctica Ernest Shackleton turned back for some food because he was hungry and hot. Him and the two other ones went back to the hut for a feed. While Ernest shackleton went on a visit on Antarctica. Eighty years ago the food was expired.

Penguin live in the southern oceans. Penguins are birds they don't live in around north they live at the bottom of the world in the south.

Penguins can’t fly. When the penguins  come ashore they stand upright and take waddling steps.

In antarctica during winter the sun goes down and it stays dark. Winter is cold and it freezing so it was cold.

In antarctica male emperor penguin can survive on the freezing and cold pack ice.

A few living thing that can survive on the pack ice. Emperor penguin can survive and there a other ones.

Penguins have thick layer and they have fur. lf penguin have no furthers they can freeze and die to death.

This morning we had an Assembly because someone was going to come to our school and it was Will.i.am. He is a singer and he sings songs in the whole world.

When Will.i.am first came in he looked like he was a star. But in the inside I felt thrilled and I wanted to be a star like him.

At end of the assembly the whole school had 100.000 dollars for the Manaiakalani.

Antarctica Seals.

WALT- We are learning to summarise the main points of a paragraph.

Most of seals  are fast and Clumsy but slow and Clumsy. These seals haul themselves and they have Pups and give birth for them. These Seals and Pups are  graceful.

Seals are mammals that live in Oceans all over the world. All of the seals at Antarctica are Non-eared seals.

These seals have lots of blubber to keep them warm.

Seals have thick, short hair on their streamlined body, to keep them warm. They have flippers to help them be superb swimmers . Most of the time, seals are in the sea.

On Antarctica there are 30 million of crabeater seals and they like to lots of krills.

Leopard seals hut for penguin under water. Penguins is not afraid of leopard seals on the ice. But they are afraid underwater. But leopard seals can’t move well on land.

In Antarctica there are Weddell seals that seeped the hole time in winter and their only one that can stay in winter. Other seals are gone to a warm place to stay.

A lady trained the Eels to be friendly.

They like to eat mince.

The Eels in the river they hide between the to rocks.

They are the largest of their kind in the world.

The eels of the Anatoki river are protected, and no one is allowed to catch and harm them.

Because they are friendly and they eat mince like the people.

The New Zealand Eels are 1.75.

The lady feed them more than fifty years.

Getting ready for Fiafia.

In  Fiafia I was in the Cook Island drumming group. But for the real one I will be nervous because I’m not good at drumming in front of the people and the childen. For the Cook island drum my tutor is Mr  Marks.

I was doing the big drum with one fat stick and my brother Timoteo was doing the fast drum and Isaaka was doing the same thing as my brother Timoteo.

We have to do our practice before lunch. And they said to us we are having a real Fiafia next Thursday.

I am thrilled so I went home and said to my dad we are have a real Fiafia next Thursday. 

So can I wear my white T-shirt my name on it with blue writing and my Jeans.

Mangere Pools.

When I went to Mangere Pool it was my first time here at the pools. I was walking past the pool I saw the two slide one is long and one is short. So when I went in the pool it was cold and after going in the pool I went to the long slide and I was sitting on the board it was fast and I was thrilled.

The pool at the back of the slide it was a little bit deep so I jump in the pool and I can swim but the other pool was deep as and it was open so first I went on the slide and after the slide I went to the deep pool and I jump high and I did a big boom.

After that we went to the new changing room and it smell bad so I went to get change fast and went to line up ready to go back to school. We were eating our lunch and we had a drink and it was nice.

We had fun at mangere pools and we will be back next year and we had so much fun going there.

I am going to find out What kind of water that in Omaru Creek.

I am going to test this by Using and getting some water samples.

Resources and equipment  We need to get the culuert water, Sea water, Bridge water, Tap water.

I predict that The bridge water was the drity and the catfish was making the mud come up so the tadpoles can die.

comparing different water samples and describing the colour.

I predict that:

That Omaru Creek water is The one with the dam is Dark green.

I think this because: The tap water is nice and fresh. And it is healthy to.Tap water is clean to. And it doesn't has salt.

My conclusion (what I found out): The sea water is clean but look at the water it look clean but I can see cloudy.

Why I think this is: A tap water is freah but when I look at it you can see through.
