         Mangere Pools.

When I went to Mangere Pool it was my first time here at the pools. I was walking past the pool I saw the two slide one is long and one is short. So when I went in the pool it was cold and after going in the pool I went to the long slide and I was sitting on the board it was fast and I was thrilled.

The pool at the back of the slide it was a little bit deep so I jump in the pool and I can swim but the other pool was deep as and it was open so first I went on the slide and after the slide I went to the deep pool and I jump high and I did a big boom.

After that we went to the new changing room and it smell bad so I went to get change fast and went to line up ready to go back to school. We were eating our lunch and we had a drink and it was nice.

We had fun at mangere pools and we will be back next year and we had so much fun going there.

Testing Omaru Creek for - turbidity.

I am going to find out What kind of water that in Omaru Creek.

I am going to test this by Using and getting some water samples.

Resources and equipment  We need to get the culuert water, Sea water, Bridge water, Tap water.

I predict that The bridge water was the drity and the catfish was making the mud come up so the tadpoles can die.

My conclusion (what I found out) The bridge one is the drity.

Why I think this is Tap water is fresh so you can drink it.

Testing Omaru Creek for - Smell

I am going to find out: The Smell Of All 4 Water Types: Omaru Creek Culvert, Omaru Creek Bridge, Sea and Tap Water

I am going to test this by: Smelling 4 different water types

Resources and equipment:

String, Bucket, 4 Jars

I predict that:

The Water next To The Dam and The Bridge is sweet, And The Culvert Not Very Strong

I think this because:

The Culvert Water Has Bits

Omaru Creek water by bridge	Smells like doo doo.

My conclusion (what I found out): The plants is making the water bad and Sweet to.

Why I think this is: Omaru Creek is not for a good water.

Testing Omaru Creek for - Colour.

I am going to find out:

What colour the water is.

I am going to test this by:

comparing different water samples and describing the colour.

Resources and equipment:

The culuery,The bridge,The sea,The tap and The glass of jays.

I predict that:

That Omaru Creek water is The one with the dam is Dark green.

I think this because: The tap water is nice and fresh. And it is healthy to.Tap water is clean to. And it doesn't has salt.

Omaru Creek water by culvert	Brown bits.
Omaru Creek water by bridge	Light green.

My conclusion (what I found out): The sea water is clean but look at the water it look clean but I can see cloudy.

Why I think this is: A tap water is freah but when I look at it you can see through.

Do you know what a test is? Well a test is like something like Reading and Maths and Writing. So when we do our testing we have to do it in an hour.

Testing is really good because you can understand what testing is all about. Testing makes me so happy and I like do tests.

Earthworms.

Because they are more than  a quarter of a million.

Earthworms might be small, but they are very important.
They make the soil healthy for plants to grow.

Earthworms eat rotting plants and  found in the soil, in compost heaps,or in worm farms.
